Google Pixel 2 XL Review > Battery Life
Bombardment Life
The Pixel 2 Forty comes with a 3,520 mAh (13.55 Wh) not-removable bombardment, which is on-par with other flagship smartphone batteries for a telephone of this size. The display is 11 percentage larger than the Pixel Twoscore but the battery is only three percent larger, which will raise some flags with some people. However, the Snapdragon 835 is a bound in efficiency over the Snapdragon 821, then this discrepancy won't be noticed during regular usage.
Beyond a broad diverseness of the tests that I performed, the Pixel 2 XL offers around an extra hour of battery life compared to the Pixel XL, which is an impressive improvement because the hardware constraints. The lowest gains were seen in more than intensive workloads like PCMark, while spider web browsing saw a decent gain year-on-year.
The Pixel ii Twoscore also fares favourably compared to a range of other flagships on the market place today, particularly smaller devices. The handset is roughly on par with the Exynos Galaxy S8+, and it's only slightly backside the smaller Xiaomi Mi 6 which packs a similar battery capacity. Phones like the OnePlus 5 fall well behind in spider web browsing tests but perform okay in other situations, while handsets like the HTC U11 are no lucifer for the Pixel ii XL.
The end result is excellent bombardment life in most situations. Y'all won't be blown abroad with ridiculously long battery life, only there's enough juice in this handset for a comfortable day'southward work despite its half-dozen-inch display, and hovering around the top of our battery benchmarks is ever a good sign.
